Social Skills

Learning good social skills and manners is another important goal for our program. Children need these skills to be positive members of our classrooms and families. At Little Explorers we seek to form a special working relationship with our parents to help guide your child through the many stages of development that he/she will go through as they grow. By utilizing proven behavioral guidance methods both in the home and at the center, your child benefits from both the effectiveness of the programs and the consistency of its application. Children develop positive ways to interact with friends and acceptable ways to handle their feelings. Probably the greatest benefit is that your child can feel proud about his or her behavior and confident in their ability to be a productive part of society.
