Touching Nature

We also believe that there is great
value in keeping our children in touch with nature. In the age of computer games, electronic toys and TV’s in every room, sometimes children don’t get the opportunities to discover the miracles of nature. It tells us a lot about who we are, how living things change and how we depend on each other. At Little Explorers we learn about nature in a hands-on kind of way: smelling wild flowers, planting tomatoes, feeding the alpaca carrots. Whether it’s trying to get your hands around a big old oak tree or getting a close up view of a caterpillar through a magnifying glass, it’s really a wonderful way to get to know and appreciate nature.
